*AUS* vs Immunity -- Posted by Elmo on Wednesday, December 31 2003
Well everyone knew this was going to be our toughest match so far and would show how much we have earned in these short months of being a clan. As murphies law goes – “If something bad is going to happen its going to happen at the worst possible time” and it did Elmo and Viscosity 2 of our top players got sudden ISP Connection problems that stopped them from participating in the match. With this problem things looked dim for our match, But we rallied together for the match and made some slight alteration to our tactics to adjust to this.
When the match finnaly started we were put into the boots of our Russian comrades to attack the harbour and leave no german standing!.Upon our the first round things then started to get very hairy and quickly, but luckily for us JoshY secured us a first round win that set our spirits high but the next few rounds seem to diminish them as we chucked everything we had at them but nothing seemed to break through. Everything we did iM seemed to be able to stop us untill the final round as allied ClintY showed off some of his skill and brought won us the last round to make the score 8-2.
After that nail-biting round we thought we would be able to hold off iM with our strong Axis tactics, For the first few rounds this proved to be correct but iM adapted to our plans and just broke through our lines to make some tight rounds that went to Immunity. As we rallied together to hold them off and make our last stand in the last few rounds bringing most of immunity’s team down to one or two men and us with number advantage. Awards go out to JoshY for his top performance on both sides, Also good work from the rest of the team who fought hard to ensure we were not tottaly massacred and brought the final round score to 7-3.
All up a very good game by Immunity and *AUS* team. Thanks for the match and look forward to the next one!

*AUS* vs AUS.TAG -- Posted by Elmo on Thursday, December 25 2003
Our Match on Tuesday Night was anticipated as it was going to be a good close match, and we weren't wrong. Although *AUS* only fielding a team of 7 players and AUS.TAG had 6 playters. *AUS* started the match as allies, and not a good start it was, with AUS.TAG getting off to a good start. *AUS* eventually evened things up and at the end of 10 rounds, the score was 6-4 to *AUS*. AUS.TAG Spaz and Adscan top scoring for Axis with scores of 9 and 8 and Elmo and Joshy taking top Honours for the yanks.
We then switched sides with *AUS* taking place as Axis trying to defend the bomb sites. Started off well for *AUS* taking a couple of minor victories, but AUS.TAG coming out much more determined as Allies evening up the score. It was pressure time for *AUS* in the last round, needing to win the last round to draw the match. Surprise was on our side as Elmo and Viscosity rushed the Allies and managed to take down most of thier team in the first 30sec. With only a few AUS.TAG left to plant the bomb the remaining *AUS* team hunted theem down to secure the last round victory and tie the Match at 10 all. Top honours for Axis goes to Viscosity (12) and Neonflash (8) and for Allies Ezza and Spaz on 15 and 12 respectively.
Great Game AUS.TAG

*AUS* vs. Von Stoners -- Posted by Elmo on Thursday, December 18 2003
Our 3rd match started with Von Stoners short on numbers they rallied together enough members to have a good game with us.
The first few rounds showed how determined Von Stoners were to hold every last bit of territory they could and they defended it very well. For the first few rounds it was very even and it looked like Von Stoners were going to fight very hard not to loose their lead but in the end we rallied together and fought back very aggressively and got us a good lead of 6 – 4.
Our spirits were high because now we get to defend and hold our positions instead of running into the fray. We held back but somehow Von Stoners seem to find a hole in our net and ripped us apart in the first few rounds because we found ourselves still in attack mode and wanting to go out there and jump into combat and leave our defense positions un-manned. However we regained our minds and dug in and defended well and some excellent fighting has to go out to Clintcom who played exceptionally well.
After we secured our lead we just turned back into berserk mode and finished up Von Stoners in the last few rounds and gave us a health 7 – 3 round lead.
Overall top performance to Von Stoners who played admirably with the numbers they had and very well done to *AUS* who performed exceptionally well. Commendations have to go out to Viscosity for his excellent sniping as usual and the rest of the members for both sides that fought to bring the final score to 13 – 7. Great game *AUS* and Von Stoners!

*AUS* vs <[POX]> -- Posted by Elmo on Tuesday, December 2 2003
Our first match as a clan in the Game Arena Ladder was vs. POX, with the match on Sunday Night. All 8 *AUS* players were in the server while only 5 <[POX]> Players. So during this muck around, *AUS* seemed intent on trying to Kill every other player on there team,(special Note to Viscosity and Smoothunit, who did extra well =P)
spirits were high and everyone relaxed. And it showed, starting off as Axis we had our game plan and came out fighting, Elmo killed his first Allied soldier, picked up his Thompson and started talking to it, "My precious". Viscosity also showed some good form as sniper bagging 5 kills as Axis. Not really any stand out players for Axis,
the whole team stuck to the plan and Allied did not plant the bomb once during all 6 rounds. Top Scoring for <[POX]> was Deeman bagging 9 kills. At the end of 6 rounds Scores were 6-0 to *AUS*
Another 5 minute break to restart the server and swap sides saw *AUS* come out fighting only to be met with a barrage of sniper fire from the Axis positions. We regrouped and finished off the remaining Axis soldiers. To keep POX on their toes, we changed Tactics and got the bomb planted in the first 30 seconds. The remainder of the rounds went the same way, with *AUS* rarely doing the same thing twice and purely outnumbering the Axis soldiers. Players of note for *AUS* was Viscosity, again sniping enemy positions with a score of 6 and Smoothunit close behind scoring 5. Mr Anarachy and Sloth were high scorers for POX with scores of 10 and 7 respectively. Finishing off as strongly as started, *AUS* closed the match with the score 12-0.
GG to POX and hopefully our next encounter will be on more even terms.
